The farewell hall

Preparing your relative for a farewell begins with a conversation about care, clothing and your family’s wishes. At Złoty Liść, you can discuss these details before deciding on a viewing or a farewell with the coffin closed.

What to bring and discuss

  • Which clothing should you provide, and are any additional items needed?
  • Can personal belongings be included, and which should be returned?
  • Are there wishes about appearance, traditions or beliefs to respect?
  • Where, when and to whom should you hand over items, and how is receipt confirmed?

Choose one family contact for these arrangements. Mention anything with particular sentimental importance during the conversation.

What the film covers

A member of our team explains the attention given to your loved one’s natural appearance before the farewell.

Agree the care and keep in touch

Ordinary care and dressing are separate from embalming, which is considered individually. We explain the possible scope, cost and timing before agreement. Our own prosectorium and cold storage at Fosa 19a support this care. Agree with the adviser how to receive updates and communicate any changes to your family’s wishes.
