Support with funeral arrangements
An Orthodox funeral in Warsaw
Practical arrangements coordinated with your family, parish and cemetery.
We can call you back.
Leave your number for a conversation about how we can help.
Our funeral home
Tell us which Orthodox parish your family belongs to and whether any arrangements have already been made. We can coordinate the practical funeral details with the priest and cemetery.
Begin with the parish and family wishes
Share the priest's contact details, the intended place of burial and any wishes your relative expressed. If you do not have a parish contact, ask for help identifying the appropriate next step.
The priest should guide the religious service and any questions about the rite. The date needs to be agreed with the parish, cemetery and relevant release arrangements; there is no need to assume a fixed timetable before these are checked.
Agree the practical funeral arrangements
- Collection and care before the funeral.
- The coffin and any agreed preparation.
- A private farewell, if wanted and suitable.
- Transport between the farewell, service and cemetery.
- The grave, documents and itemised costs.
We have two chapels of our own at Fosa 19a for an agreed farewell. These are funeral-home spaces; the parish will advise on the location and arrangements for the religious service.
Explain any language or travel needs
Tell us the church or denomination, preferred languages and whether relatives are travelling. Do not assume that arrangements for different churches are interchangeable; check the specific parish and ceremony leader.
If there is a question about cremation or a particular religious practice, discuss it with the priest before authorising the arrangements.
For burial outside Poland, the documents and transport plan also need to be checked for the destination.

You do not need to have everything decided. We can work through the next step together.
