The interior of a farewell hall: rows of pale chairs on either side of a central aisle, an exposed timber roof, and large square lamps in white fabric hung at varying heights.

The farewell hall

A funeral celebrant leads a secular farewell, delivers a tribute agreed with the family and coordinates the ceremony. At Złoty Liść, you can discuss a farewell centred on your relative’s life, memories and the people close to them.

1. Talk about the person

A few memories of what mattered to your relative are enough to begin. Identify the people, interests and events to include, as well as subjects that should remain private. You do not need to write a full biography.

2. Agree the words and plan

Agree the tribute, music and order of contributions with the celebrant. Check names and facts. If prayer or a religious service is included, coordinate the celebrant’s role with the religious officiant beforehand. Mention any language preferences.

3. The ceremony

The celebrant follows the agreed plan, leads the procession and closes with thanks to those attending. Family contributions are optional. Share the proposed date and venue, then confirm availability, scope and cost before booking.
