Our funeral home
Direct cremation means cremation without a ceremony at the cremation itself. Złoty Liść can arrange it at our own crematorium at ul. Fosa 19a in Warsaw.
What the arrangements cover
Ask for the estimate to set out the agreed essentials:
- Collection and care before cremation.
- The necessary documents and authorisations.
- A suitable coffin for cremation.
- Cremation and the selected urn.
- Arrangements for the ashes after cremation.
A chapel farewell, celebrant, flowers or later ceremony should be discussed separately if wanted. You can choose a simple arrangement without having to explain a personal reason.
Where the ashes can be placed
In Poland, the usual lawful choices are cemetery burial or a columbarium niche. Direct cremation is not a service for scattering ashes or keeping the urn permanently at home.
Confirm the final resting place and any cemetery charges as part of the plan. If a family grave exists, ask its administration what is required before assuming it can receive the urn.
If you intend to take the ashes abroad, tell us the destination first. Documents and carrier requirements differ from the transport of a body.
Check the full cost and timing
The estimate should distinguish the cremation arrangements from cemetery fees, additional transport and any later ceremony. Ask which dates are confirmed and how the urn will be cared for before final placement.
We offer direct settlement of eligible ZUS funeral benefits. Confirm the amount applicable to your case, any balance payable and payment dates.
If you would prefer a farewell before cremation, our cremation page explains the options.
