Bringing someone to Poland
We can coordinate with the funeral director abroad and help prepare the Polish arrangements. The process normally includes permission from the authority responsible for the intended place of burial and a certificate from the Polish consul.

- Check the authority needed for someone to act on the family's behalf.
The consulate's checklist depends on the country of departure. Confirm preparation, translations and travel documentation for that route.
Taking someone from Poland abroad
The funeral director must check the Polish departure permission, receiving-country requirements and any transit or carrier conditions. Preparation and the transport coffin must suit the particular journey.
Provide the receiving funeral director's details if one has been chosen. Ask for a written estimate covering care, documents, road or air transport and the handover.
Permits and release arrangements affect timing. An administrative deadline is not a guaranteed travel date; confirm the journey before booking the funeral or relatives' travel.
Transporting ashes
Ashes have a separate document and packaging process. Tell us the destination before choosing an urn or booking a flight.
- Check the death and cremation certificates required.
- Confirm departure, transit and destination requirements.
- Ask the carrier about accepted packaging and how the urn may travel.
- Agree who will receive it and the final burial or placement arrangements.
